Aldert Hazenberg

Aldert is an experienced technical project manager who combines deep experience with broad technical knowledge. Aldert worked for the first Dutch e-commerce company, Prolin, and later became Hewlett Packard’s European network manager.

Using his motto: ‘Keeping IT real’, he is strong in all aspects related to IT projects with a focus on software development including strategy, graphical design considerations, technical design, usability, security, and budget management. Aldert’s work with HP and the global IT-security community have made him highly experienced in working in international teams that require high-quality communications and fast-paced development cycles.

Aldert is chair of the HXX Foundation that supports the European hacktivist community with project management and financial support for organizing yearly events. He was also the driving force behind the largest infosecurity conference of 2009: Hacking at Random. Interviews can be found on his blog.
